Brewing Methods

We believe the best cup of coffee is the one you enjoy most. Everyone has their own style, their own taste, and no one gets to tell you which brew is the “right” one. But if you’re looking for a little guidance (or a solid base recipe to start with), here’s what we usually share with our friends:

V60 / Pour Over (Single Serve)

Ratio: 1:15

15g medium-ground coffee

225g water at 90–92°C

Total water in by 2:00

2:45–3:00 total brew time

Cold Brew

Ratio: 1:10

100g coarsely ground coffee per 1L of water

Steep in the fridge for 22–24 hours

Tip: Love it sweet?
Dissolve some brown sugar into your water before steeping. Also try: steeping in milk!

AeroPress

Ration: 1:10

20g medium-fine coffee

100g water at 90°C

Total brew time: 1:45–2:00

100g water bypass

Pour 100g water within 15 secs.
Stir and swirl. Bloom until 1:00.
Stir again and secure plunger.
Press plunger at 1:30 until 2:00.
Bypass with 100g water
